Hello! I am Dr. Judith Roberts, licensed by the state of Florida as a Mental Health Counselor, I have been practicing since 1999, providing individual, couples, marital, and family psychotherapy as well as geriatric counseling.
My educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the College of New Rochelle in New York, a Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida.
Each individual that comes into my office is acknowledged for his or her unique talents and abilities. Know it is your talents and abilities that will help to drive the course of treatment along with my guidance, support, and encouragement. While my primary theoretical approach in therapy is one of a cognitive behavioral perspective, the therapeutic approach taken will depend solely on each individual's needs. You are an integral part of the journey.
I am also a State Qualified Supervisor for registered mental health counselor interns. It is important to support students as they prepare to become future mental health professionals who will ultimately impact the lives of others.

*In Partnership with Nourishing Lives. This organization initially began as a weekend program, providing pack-a-sacks to Broward County school children. For leisure, I enjoy reading, dancing - I love to dance!!! I am trained in modern dance and ballet, listening to music - all genres but in particular jazz, Gospel, and reggae:), I played the piano through high school, learning about different cultures and seeking opportunities to engage in people from varying backgrounds, walking, meditation, and spending time with family and friends.
